Employment-Based Immigration ◊ Labor Certifications
At the office of M.J. Louis, in downtown Miami, I handle all matters related to employment-based immigration for people throughout south Florida. I have worked closely with immigrants in the area since 1990, building my practice on a commitment to personal service and attention. As an immigrant myself, I know the difficulties you face, including the stress and anxiety that accompany the uncertainty about whether your visa will be granted. I encourage my clients to call me directly with all concerns.

Helping You Get an Employment-Based Visa
I work with employers and employees who have employment-based immigration concerns, helping you complete all the requirements for:
- H-1B visas. I can help you apply for one of the 60,000 visas that are granted every year to foreign nationals (generally college graduates or people with 12 or more years of experience) who want to work in America.
- L-Visa (transferee). If you own a company outside of the United States and want to set up operations here, I can help you form a base and bring foreign workers in.
- O-Visa. If you have extraordinary ability in your job or profession and can show that you will have little or no difficulty making a living in the United States, I can help you get a visa to allow you to legally reside here.
- P-Visa. If you are an internationally renowned athlete or part of a professional entertainment group, I can help you get a temporary visa in order to remain in the United States.
If you have successfully obtained a H-1B, L, O or P visa to work temporarily in the United States, I can help you through the labor certification process so that you can get permanent residency. I will prepare your application with the Department of Labor, arguing that there are no other equally qualified American citizens, so that you can get your green card to work here permanently.
